Jarosek states the strike group is comprised of 30 members from the Health District, EMS, and the fire department. The team has kept up with all 62 nursing houses, assisted living, and memory care facilities in Wilco.
” We do have several clusters occurring right now at centers,” said Amy Jarosek, team leader for Wilcos Rapid Response Viral Strike Team.

She states the group gets activated based upon the infection control assessment thats done on stated care center. The group works as a guide on what to do and as an assistance system for the staff at the numerous care centers.
” They are overloaded right now. just attempting to keep their citizens healthy and then reducing the problem of not being able to have households and enjoyed ones enter into those centers so we wish to act in a supporting function to those facilities,” said Jarosek.
