Texas woman released from hospital after 3 months with COVID-19 – KTRK-TV

NORTH RICHLAND HILLS, Texas– A north Texas lady is lastly home from a three-month stay in the medical facility after checking positive for COVID-19.
The doctors and nurses at Medical City-North Hills call Paola Castillos healing a wonder.

” Theres a point where they didnt understand if I was going to make it or not,” Castillo stated.
The 24-year-old spent more than a month in ICU on a ventilator. Doctors said they had to put her in a medically-induced coma.
” Maybe if I would have simply listened and worn a mask, simply a simple thing, I would have avoided all this,” she said. “I operate at a bank. Im constantly around individuals, however I was like Im fine, Im great. Never did I think I d catch it.”
Physicians at Medical City-North Hills stated theyre seeing increasingly more young clients contract the virus.
” Weve seen a lot of patients die in our medical facility that were in her scenario,” said Dr. Hetal Rana.
Thats why Castillos story gives them a lot hope.

” Maybe if I would have just listened and worn a mask, just a basic thing, I would have prevented all this,” she said. “I work at a bank. Never ever did I think I d capture it.”
