Well-known Houston restaurant owner Vincent Mandola dies of COVID-19 – KTRK-TV

HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK)– A widely known Houston dining establishment owner who is part of a local family food dynasty died on Sunday.
Vincent “Bubba” Mandola is the owner of several popular restaurants in the Montrose and Midtown location, including Ninos, Vincents and Grappinos on West Dallas.

The Mandola family released the following statement:
” It is with profound sadness that the Vincent Mandola household would like to inform you of the death of our very much precious Vincent Mandola on Sunday, July 19, 2020. Vincent committed his life to his family and was a remarkable daddy and a dedicated hubby, and papa.

Throughout this very challenging time, we thank you for your assistance and compassion and kindly request your continued prayers and privacy.”
The family says he passed away of heart failure. Back in June, he was ill and checked favorable for COVID-19.
