Humboldt Countys overall count of confirmed COVID-19 cases now stands at 233, after 2 additional cases were reported today.
In the 131 days from Feb. 20 to June 30 of this year, the county totaled 133 cases but has added 100 cases in the month of July alone. Humboldt County Health Officer Dr. Teresa Frankovich stated, “The great news is that we remain in an excellent position to substantially slow transmission of this infection in our community by avoiding contact with those who arent a part of our family and limiting non-essential travel as much as possible. If we all devote to taking these actions together, we can make a huge difference in health results for Humboldt County.”
Todays alert level stands at a 3 or level orange. Visit humboldtgov.org/dashboard to see the countys Alert Level Assessment tool.
