Once approved, that record system will make it possible for rapid production of the COVID-19 vaccine, according to Hutchins.

Heat Biologics is on the fast lane to start scientific trials as early as Spring 2020, and Madison is on the list for possible locations.

MADISON, Wis.– A Madison based company is coordinating with a nationwide biotech business to manufacture a COVID-19 vaccine.

Heat Biologics is partnering with Waisman Biomanufacturing at the University of Wisconsin-Madison to produce a vaccine for stages one and two of medical trials.

Their vaccine is designed to target individuals most susceptible to COVID-19.

” What occurs with our work with the University of Wisconsin is we begin developing a really in-depth records system in which those records can be sent to any making website which very same procedure can take place,” Hutchins said.
