In the past day, health officials in Georgia have confirmed more than 3,200 new COVID-19 cases.

The Department of Public Health in Georgia confirmed more than 3,200 new COVID-19 cases on Saturday.

Saturday saw 3,285 new confirmed cases and 1,423 Antigen positive cases.

That brings the statewide total to 769,825 confirmed cases and 167,577 Antigen positive cases.

Georgia is also reporting 13,324 confirmed deaths, an increase of 179 in the past day, and 51,732 hospitalizations, an increase of 253.

As of 3 p.m., February 6th, there have been 35,145 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in residents of the Coastal Health District and 605 deaths.
