Another 10,000 coronavirus vaccine appointments open for those 65 and older in Riverside County – Press-Enterprise

Riverside County has once again lowered the minimum age to get an appointment for the coronavirus vaccine at one of its clinics, this time from 75 to 65.

As of Monday, Feb. 8, residents 65 and older can make an appointment — 10,000 slots were available early Monday afternoon — at a county-run clinic. Locations include Perris, Menifee, Corona, Hemet, Beaumont and Indio.

Online appointments can be made by visiting www.rivcoph.org/COVID-19-Vaccine-with-Registration. Those who speak Spanish or have trouble getting online can call 211 or 951-329-4703.

The county’s online registration link redirects users to a state registration portal. Appointments may not be available by the time someone completes all the portal’s registration steps.

Appointments and proof of age are required to get vaccinated.
